It's been made official that I am losing my apartment and I have to move by May 31st. I will be moving in with my Mom out in Magna but have a small problem. My Mom's place is on a circle street and how her driveway sits my car can't make it in and out of her driveway without scraping the bottom of my car. I was wondering if anyone might know who or where I might check with to get some metal plates or grates to put over the gutter so that I can drive my car safely in and out of her driveway.
I have found some small gutter guards at Home Depot but they want $75 each and we would need four of them (that's not going to happen). I was thinking even if I could find some scrap metal plates that someone might have laying around, anything that would help.
Thnx everyone... ;D

If no one has anything I'd check with metal supermarkets 801-972-5911 Check their remnants section, I'm sure they can get you something that will work cheaper than home depot or lowes

Thnx guys. Her gutter is kinda deep and rounded and on a curve. I want to try to get something a little more solid that someone can't pick up and walk off with also.
I have gone in slow and angled but it seems like the ground has sunken in a bit or something because even my Moms tiny little car hit the front end when going in and out. This is how I busted the splash shield under my engine, now it catches the front bumper (I don't wanna rip it off).

It seems like it's just the gutter at the end of the driveway. I'll try to take some pic's next time I stop over there and see if you can actually see what I'm talking about. Haven't really paid attention to what it actually looks like other than just driving over it slowly lol...
