Very informative vid. You did a good job. Just wondering, do you have to use the cleaner spray everytime or just prior to the initial application? Does it last and how often do you have to touch up your tires on the Envoy? It seems like a lot of members on here are interested as I am sure they would be on Mopars of Utah as well... I wonder if Tuff Shine would do a group buy for us?

I wonder if Tuff Shine would do a group buy for us? No, not everytime. The initial application MUST (and I can't stress that enough) be on the cleanest of clean tires. Back to rubber with absolutely no old product left. The clearcoat will not stick to silicone. Thats why in the video I scrubbed, scrubbed and scrubbed more. I had a lot of built up residue on my tires I had to get off. I haven't had it long enough, but I have read on another auto forum that most guys who are really OCD about their wheels (like me) touch them up once a month or so. And for that, you don't need to remove the old clearcoat- just clean the tires like you do your paint, let them dry and give them a fresh coat of the clearcoat. And it depends on how often you drive. I do maybe 40 give or take miles a week on my Magnum, and less on the Envoy. I used to use Armour All Foam a lot, because it lasted a while and I liked it. But I was using it every carwash- once a week at least, or I'd worry when the rain would wash it off, then the messy residue all over my paint... I'd much rather touch up my wheels once a month and never have to deal with sling than Armour All. That bottle in the video will do 20 tires. I did three coats on the GMC and three on the Magnum and I still have some left over to use for future touchups. So it will certainly last...

great video on instructions. I'm going to have to look into this. I need to call up Black Magic and have them make me some more of their matte black tire shine.

I need to order some of this. It'll be perfect timing with the new tires. It should be easier clean up since is there will be no silicone build up.
