Can I just say that there is no better feeling than watching money go up in smoke! I still need to figure out how/where I am going to mount the switch...had it grounded on a bolt on the door frame for testing today. All I can say is PURE ENJOYMENT FACTOR.

Congrats. I thought bout getting Line lock but decide I would just invest in a 2800 stall T/C. I bet it is super easy to smoke the tires now.

I had a shop do the install...took them about 2 hours...some of that time was just running the wires nicely around the engine bay and through the firewall. There was also time spent bleeding the brakes...really doesn't look like a big deal

I got this kit from LMPerformance 1 - 0027170 - SLP Brake-Control Package, 2005-08 Charger/300C/Challenger 5.7/6.1L Hemi Cost me $152 with free shipping...I didn't shop around much, so you may be able to find a better deal...kit came with everything needed (switch, wire, etc)

explain what a line lock does versus the LSD cuz i know with the LSD you wont burn out a rear end with it period but this is the first I heard of a line lock.

Real simple, you press down the brake pedal, flip the switch, release the brake. The front brakes stay "locked" and the rear brakes are released. Spin the rear until the tires pop

Here are some pics of the kit and installation. Pretty basic really as the solenoid mounting is determined by where the line end up after attaching the top line. Kit: Overall Install: Solenoid Mounting and lines:

Looks great! I would show you a picture of mine but it is surrounded by a cardboard box and living room furniture I came up with a small LED that I will mount next to the switch to show me when it is activated. As little as I use my ash tray, I am thinking I will mount it inside there so I don't hit it accidentally.
