It looks like Saturday, April 11th is the date for the Davis/Weber County Meet & Greet. It is going to be held at the Burger King on the North/West corner of Antelope and Main in Layton. They have a nice size parking lot and it would put all of our cars right on the corner to be seen by all that pass by. Hopefully we can draw attention to some potential new members!  The only thing I need feed back on is what time would be good for everyone. |

Finals is coming up. I don't think I'll be able to make it, but I'll try. I'm definitely going to stop by the Burger Bar in Roy though. They have amazing elk and buffalo burgers. Small family owned burger joint for the last 52 years.

Isnt there a place called the burger stop in layton as well that host cruise nights once in a while there?

Not aware of a place called the Burger Stop, wasn't able to find it in the phone book either. Burger Bar is alright, I guess I was really disappointed due to the hype and hearing how great it was suppose to be. Especially after being promoted by that TV show, something and dives. I guess I'll have to give it one more chance. We'll have to have one of our Davis/Weber County M&G's there so everyone can give their own option. I have people in my office that rave about the place as well. It's kind of like fry sauce, coming from California I don't get it. |

Guys,
JC has a car show early in April called the "Breakout Breakfast". Its on a Sunday morning at the Layton HomeTown Buffett (by Hobbylobby and Big Five) . It's a show that goes from about 8:00 am to noon. The show is free and we usually have about 60 / 70 cars attend. I can't remeber which Sunday it is, but I'll find out on Sat.

The Burger bar is pretty stinking good with a good sized parking lot but we'd be behind the building probably . I'm down for burger king for now. I get off work around 630 so anythime after that works for me, or i can even be a little late

there's a place called burger stop I think, it's off of gentile, I've been there but only when they have car shows in their parking lot.

So are we meeting up Saturday April 11th at Burger King on the North/West corner of Antelope and Main in Layton for the Davis county M&G or Sunday "Breakout Breakfast morning at the Layton HomeTown Buffett.... Well let me know which day & I will be there, I guess we can discuss that at the April 2nd M&G or through this forum.

It's not my first choice for food, I mainly picked it for the parking and the location. It's just off the freeway and easy to find. For those that just can't stand Burger King there is a Crown Burger across the street (parkings in back however). But I think if we are going to use someone's parking lot we should have the courtesy of supporting the establishment with most of us buying something there. Otherwise the next time we may not be welcome. Hope we have a good turn out! I'm hoping it turns out to be a good recruiting opportunity. |

I know that most of you may be coming up for the Salt Lake area, or further, so I didn't want to make it too early. We normaly meet at 6:00pm. Will that work for everyone, or should we push it back to 7:00pm? |

Saturday works for me, Anytime is good as I will have my kids regardless, but I can make it anytime. I almost wonder if morning would work out better for most? So as it stands I will plan on being there at 6pm Saturday April 11th unless I hear something different. Is everyone from Davis County on the same page?
