I was thinking of going to the Stars of the Past Show in Layton which is in a park, which is the weekend before yours (8/14). Do you know if the car show is going to be on grass or a parking lot? If it's in a park with the possibility of shade, I might make the switch. They seem to have a lot going on which would also make it nice.

I'm glad you brought this up. As I was browsing I saw it had an award for the highest club participation. That would be awesome if we could get 30 cars there and take home a group award.

im sure we will have a very good chance at taking an award for highest club participation, there is a group out here called "tail draggers" all old school they would be about the only ones that could give us a run! So yeah everybody it would be way cool to get a "CLUB AWARD" so lets get some participarion everyone its more then a month away so pleanty of time to plan for it! so let me do some research Gordon and i'll post up when i find something out! but there are no major parking lots in Stansbury so im kinda figuring it might be staged on grass and there are lots of tree's and grass etc so its a nice area

cool cool cool. still a ways off so hopefully we'll get some more participation!!! May have to send Mass email out, Quite a few members would most likey attend if they knew bout it , unfortunately many dont sign in on a regular bases to stay informed. See if Greg or Jeff can send mass email out to create some more interest. Just a thought. |

on the entrance form where do we put the club name? Its probably not necessary and im sure the guys puting on the show will verify and check but you bring up a very good idea, maybe we should write it in big letters under the area we sign at bottom "Club SLCLX" that would be a good idea! |
