Hey Emily, I saw a sneek peek of the flyer you created. Great job, You are going to be our official flyer creator Looking forward to this event! We want to invite the Mopars of Utah and the SRT4 club(utahmopars) as well. Should be a great turn out, probably the biggest since inception of club. Stay tuned for details and watch for emails, postings and flyers!

Ok, here is my idea for the cruise.
We can meet at the South Town Center at 9am, with a plan to hit the road by 9:30am. Head south on I-15 and exit at Thanksgiving Point heading east on Hwy 92 into American Fork Canyon, turning off on the Alpine Loop Scenic Hwy (Hwy 92). If I remember right there is a over look that we could stop at for about 30 minutes (not a big parking lot however). The Alpine Loop ends at Hwy 189, we take Hwy 189 North into Heber City. Cruise through Heber City then continue North on Hwy 40 exiting on Hwy 248 and head towards Park City. Cruise through Park City and then take Hwy 224 North to I-80. Take I-80 West back to SLC. Once we reach the I-80 and I-215 East Belt Way people can split off from there to head what ever direction they need to. The date scheduled for the cruise the weather should be cool enough for any older cars and the colors should be starting to change. Should make for a scenic drive.
The whole trip from the South Town Center to the I-80 & I-215 East Interchange is about 90 miles. With allowing an hour for lunch & a 30 minute stop on Hwy 189 (or 1-1/2 for lunch), that would put us at us at the I-80 & I-215 interchange at approximately 1:30pm. Plenty of time for people to get home two watch the BYU game or to have the rest of the afternoon available.
I do need some suggestions for lunch. Do we stop in Heber City or Park City? Should we plan on stopping at restaurant, a fast food place, or plan a picnic at a park? Any restaurant or park suggestions?

Sounds like a great plan - not sure what to suggest for the lunch though - if the boys are with me they will probably be wanting burgers or the like .... if not I am open to anything.
Looking forward to this, should be a lot of fun

Yea, the date is Saturday October 9th. Hemily has made up a great flier that we can post where ever they will let us to see how many Mopars we can get.
I like the burger idea for lunch. I was told about a great restaurant called Chick right on the main drag in Heber City, but if we have a large crowd it would take forever for everyone to get their food.
I cruised down the main drag of Heber City via Google Maps and the only parking lot of any size is the Smith's parking lot on the north side of town, but the only thing near there is a Taco Time. There's another place called Dairy Keen which is across the street for the Heber City Park. Not sure what they serve however.
There are a lot more places in Park City with some larger parking lots, but again I really don't know what's there.

Ok here it is! Emily did a great job on the flier, she needs some big Karma for a great job done!!! Who going to help get these up around town? We also need to start getting a list on who's committed on going so we can start to get a count!
