I wish I could make this! JJ is going to be sound sleeping by that time. You & Joey should allow Emily & JJ some quiet Mom & son bonding time ;D Bummer Dave, we are going to miss you. Hope you can figure away to make it.

You will be alright kids are worth every bit of it. That could be questionable when they hit the teenage years!

Year End Cruise is next Saturday! According the extended weather forecast it looks to be a nice sunny day in the mid 70's!
Took my wife on a nice Sunday drive today to make sure I had everything mapped out correctly. The falls colors are starting to come out and it was a very pretty drive. The Alpine Loop goes through part of the State Park, so everyone is going to have to be prepared for the $6 entry fee.
Found a place we can take a nice group picture. After we leave the Alpine Loop and turn north onto Hwy 189 toward Heber City, there is a very large turn out and parking area. I think there is plenty of room plus it will give us a chance to regroup as it may take a few minutes for everyone to make that left turn with all the traffic.
We will have lunch in Heber City as planned. However if we have the number of cars I think we are, there is not one place that can accommodate everyone. So once we hit Heber City, everyone can get lunch where ever they'd like and we'll regroup at the City Park right off the main street, or just bring a picnic lunch. There's plenty of parking, lawn area, play ground, and shade. If everyone brings their lunches back to the park to eat, it will give us a chance to visit with one another. There is also a burger place just across the street from the park.
There are several of us that are planning on bringing some of the small two way radios. If you have one you might want to bring it so we can keep in touch with one another.
The pre-cruise today was very enjoyable and I'm looking forward to the Year End Cruise this next Saturday. For those of you that haven't decided to join us yet, now's the time to get off the fence and join in. It's going to be a blast!
