Does anyone know the number order for the coil packs on the 5.7s? I'm trying to figure out which is number 7. Check engine light came on and the error code was P2320
ignition coil secondary num 7 circuit condition detected an erratic signal from the ignition coil secoondary circuit. probable cause 1)faulty sparkplug or coil boot 2)Failed iginition coil
Thanks
Dave and Richard helped me change plugs but no dice.

The cylinders are numbered from front to rear; 1, 3, 5, 7 on the left and 2, 4, 6, 8 on the right

When I'm at Hinkley tommorow I'll see oif I can get you one, and dollars to doughnuts that odd wire is a failed attempt to hook up a tach, anyway I'll call you when I'm there to confer

I had a great time changing the plugs with ya Eddy. I wish it would've corrected the problem but it wasn't a waste. They needed to be done and we learned something by doing ourselves.

Well anyword? hopefully its not an expensive repair, nothing worst than dropping some coin on repair that could be used towards mods, well except stupid ticket cost.

Latest news I heard is that it could be the PCM.

Bummer, but it's good to know that if it's the PCM it is gonna be covered under warranty. How are you getting it to the dealer?

Nice! So everything that got done to your car (spark plugs and coil pack) needed to be replaced anyway and the PCM is covered under warranty. Good to hear!

So we had the car towed to the LHM in Riverdale. They'll call in the mornign with their verdict. Fingers are crossed that this will fall under the pcm warranty. Thanks everyone for all the advice, offers of help, labor, and moral support.
