Also, gas is about $.50-.70 more in California. Glad I took my stratus R/T home for Christmas break.

Officially decided, leaving here Thursday afternoon, spending the night in Vegas and then getting to Irvine, Friday afternoon. Coming back Monday

Eddy, I have heard from people with inside knowledge of SF that something big is going on at the hotel on Friday evening. Just an FYI you will want to arrive early.

I am figuring about $300-$350 for gas in mine, last time a took a trip I estimated about 22mpg (not to bad I guess). I can't wait to go, this will be my first big out of state show. Who is staying where and what are the best rates we can get for rooms? I have heard of a few options from those that have gone before, I can use all the info and advice you can give me. Are we all planing on driving down together as well? I just need to know so I can ask for the time off at work (if they haven't fired me by then lol)... Thnx guys and gals!! it was about 300 for the 3 nights. At the doubletree in Irvine. Makes it easier to stagger to the room after the Friday night partying. |

I am a no go as well. My husband will be out of town on work and my horse is due to foal that time and I cant leave her alone. I also dont have anyone to watch the kids since Mike wont be here. I am going to try to go to Vegas though is anyone going to MATS? Maybe next year I will make it to spring fest.

Yeah Chris, everything is good. My parents decided they wanted to take Damion, Tina and I on an all expenses paid trip to San Diego and DisneyLand. Just don't have enough vacation. Can't pass up 10 days paid in SoCal.

I'm officially out of Springfest this year as well. I was hoping to do both Springfest and MATS, but I had to pick one. I talked with Kira and asked her which one she wanted to go to, I mentioned racing and she made the decision. I think I've created a monster. She's already signed up and will be racing the Mag in two brackets. Looking forward to see what the Mag will do at the 2,300 foot level!
Plus we're going to need to hit the swap meet there to see what kind of parts will be there. A must if your doing a restoration of an older car.
Was hoping to talk my wife into making a trip out to see her parents during Springfest, but she has a wedding cake she has to have done the following week.
Oh well, there's always next year!
