lol, I remember as a little kid, my whole family would go and pick strawberries. I remember I would eat one and then put another in the bucket. Usually I end up eating so much I didn't want to move. ;D

I tell you guys, if you've never had a strawberry that was grown to fully ripe, you've not had a strawberry. They are nothing like the ones you buy in the grocery store. Plus the Oxnard Strawberries are huge!!!  Some of them are as big as a plum (maybe a slight exaggeration, but not much). ;D |

Strawberries was one of the only good things about California. lol Were else can you find a state that has movie stars for governors? And what about all those avocado trees that people have in their back yards. We had neighbors that would give us dozens at a time, just so they wouldn't be messing up the lawn in their back yard. You can't forget about cruising Sunset Strip. Everyone has to do that at least once. You'll never see so many exotic cars in one place! Plus all the weird people are fun to watch. And my kids favorite place, Six Flags Magic Mountain. But mostly I'm with you. It's changed way too much from when I was a kid. However the Oxnard/Ventura area is still a very nice place to live!! I'm just not a beach person. |

Glad you made it safe. I should of had you fring me some strawberries too. I lived in Oxnard until I was in junior high. Then we moved to central california. I still have family in Oxnard I need to go visit.

Jeff it was a pleasure to meet you Sunday afternoon and spending a few minutes talking to you. My family sends their thanks for the Oxnard Strawberries you brought up with you. With 3 adults and 4 teenagers in our house the box was gone by the end of the night. They were what we expected! It was the perfect desert for our Tri-Tip dinner that night.
Hope your in town when we have one of the M&Gs so you can meet some of the other guys and they can see your Charger SRT8.
