Hey everyone, here are a couple of pics of my Katzkin which I installed this weekend. Took me a little over 12 hours and that includes my carpet shampooing. I'm sooooo happy to lose that cheap OEM vinyl/leather crap.    Yes... that's in my living room. I documented what was needed on a front seat. My pictures are on my photobucket site for alpinewil81. Those look great.
My living room looks like that too. Couple of boxes with extra tail lights and head lights. Even some stuff on the kitchen counter...

I hate that cheap crap they put in from the factory It ain't nothin to me man, I understand those headlights are important and so are halo's. Jack away if you need the help gettin yours fixed. I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one who didn't appreciate the so-called leather they put in these from the factory. I just can't wait til the Katzkin does a little shrinking and tightening in the heat... should be killer after that. |

The garage isn't quite warm enough yet... well that and my heater is broke out there, has been since like Christmas. I obviously have priorities as as you can tell. Otherwise, my wife is forgiving. She actually enjoyed helping (mostly watching) me do it... she truly has some Mopar fever. I think, for once, my love for the Magnum might actually be growing on her?  WEIRD!!! That and her 9-7X got a detailing out of it... |

Yours will too!!! No but seriously, hang in there... I've saved for a while now and used some of my Uncle Sam money to finally afford things I've wanted and needed for a while. A year later and I was able to replace the interior. Next week I'm going to be having a few late nights at the body shop too... I used to do that and a friend of mine is letting us do what we used to do to repaint my front end. After that, its on to new struts and bushings on the front. She should feel like new again in two weeks. Besides, your car's lookin good. Its day for some new leather will eventually come. Good chattin with you at the Autorama by the way. |
