I HATE HINCKLEY DODGE!!! We ordered the left and right motor mount and tranny mount because both my motor mounts were shot and the tranny one was going bad. We only received the left motor mount and the tranny mount. I won't be able to get the right motor mount til next week. Am I stressed? YEAH!!! Not the way I wanted to spend my b-day. But at least I got my car back. It's just going to be a rough drive down to Irvine. Ouch, sorry to hear the bad news, I can related cause I went through same thing with Moes Performers on the halfshaft, but I am sure it wasnt done intentially, even though that doesnt make you feel any better. Here is a crazy idea, Kinda like the one I had from Last year SpringFest Trip when someone had a major tire blow out. Anyway we know someone that has their engine out and pretty sure he upgrade new ones to handle all the new found power from his monsterous build. He may have his old ones sitting around or possible even might let you buy his new upgrade ones, since he has more time to wait. I know this is very time sensitive so I would hit one of the clubs biggest givers and see if he has his old ones still laying around. Just a thought, that we havent exhausted or tried yet. |

Just a thought, is that a dealer only part? Have you checked with parts houses like NAPA?
I rarely buys parts from the dealer.

I've made engine mounts using hockey pucks and my old ones before... sounds crazy but they are some of the densest most resilient rubber known to man...
Oh, by the way, HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM SLCLX FORUMS TO YOU!!! WE WISH IT WAS OUR BIRTHDAY SO WE CAN PARTY TOO!!!... kind of sounds like a restaurant gingle doesn't it :-)

For once the dealer price is $60 for the mounts and $100 are most auto parts stores. Sean just reinforced his old motor mounts, so no extras there to use.

We just bought the $100 one and Travis at J&W Transmissions is going to help me install it tomorrow morning before I leave for SF6.
