Warm Weather (5 Guys M&G)...

I thought this might help a little. All Mapquest had was an Old pic so I used my magical photo skills to improve it lol. I forgot to mention that there is a Carwash, Gas Station and 7-11 right next door to the Five Guys if anyone might need any of them. Watch for oncoming cars driving through the big parking lot, they don't have a stop or yield sign and people don't pay attention sometimes. Also Five Guys is on the North side of the street.



I was contacted by the franchise owner of the 5 Guys Burger & Fries that opened by me. I had asked about setting up a M&G at their location when the weather really warms up in a few months and they said that would be Awesome! The owner seems to be a really Great guy and is excited to see our cars!

I wanted to post this as early as possible so we can get as much advanced notice to everyone as possible. I'm hoping to get a real nice turn out for this M&G. I wanted to get ideas for dates and times for this to see if we can figure what will work best for everyone?? Let me know so I can figure this out and take it back to 5 Guys to see if the date will work out.

I figured it worked so well in past events that I would make a small flier for this as well as soon as we have a date and who will be coming. Any comments or questions feel free to ask.

Oh and Yes I'm trying to get us free or discounted food!!! ;D

Im in Ed, sounds like fun. The one Dave put together at iceburg turned out really good. Not sure about when though, I am fairly new to the area and dont know when it warms up here.

I like Five Guys, so I'm in. As far as a date it's far enough away I just say pick a date and get on the calendar. You'll never find one that works for everyone.

The only big events on the calendar right now is Springfest, MATS, and Auto Rama. You also might want to check the Thanks 2 Frank website to see if they've started posting the car shows to make sure there isn't a major show on the date you picked.

I like the idea of getting things on the calendar as soon as possible.

Sounds great everyone. I was possibly thinking sometime in early April. I'll check some dates and see what works. Any ideas for a time? I was thinking it would be on a weekend so I was thinking either around noon or 3pm and run for 2-3 hours. Or as long as people want to stick around lol.

Isnt that when this MATS thing is? I might try to go to that since spring fest is pretty well out of the question for me now. Still dont even know if I will be going to Vegas so so far I will go Ed.

Yeah MATS is the 8th through the 10th, so should probably be sooner or later than that.

How about the first weekend of April on Saturday the 2nd. Would this work better? Just trying to make sure it don't conflict with anything else going on as well as trying to make sure it will be warm enough. Never know how long the cold will decide to stick around anymore.

I would be game for sure. Any reason to get together and eat great burgers ;D Thanks Ed for putting this together!! SpringFest is 3/25 weekend and Mopar at the Strip is 4/8-4/10 weekend and RMR drag racing (opening) first test & tune is 4/16 (Saturday) Easter Weekend is April 24th. We had a M&G one year over easter weekend and the turn out dropped off due to family plans that holiday. Just throwing the info out there. IMO, April 2 would probably be best date depending on weather. Other than that first weekend in May might be in option as well. Either way, I am in just let me know or put it on the calendar.

Ok sounds good, Thnx Chris. Anyone else have any date ideas or is April 2nd a good one for everyone. I'm trying to make sure its going to be warm plus make sure it not going to be so busy with all the other show dates going on so close. Let me know what everyone thinks so we can make the date as solid as possible when I contact 5 Guys.
