Some things you need to know, from someone who did them. Any shop will charge you a minimum 500 labor for whatever headers you go with. The reason is because to remove the stock ex mani's, you either need to disconnect the motor mounts to life the engine a couple inches, or, pull the heads. There is just so little room in the engine compartment to get to the exhaust studs. Underdrive pulley spins everything driven by the serpentine belt slower. That means water pump, alternator, ac compressor, everything. Because the engine is working less (Turns the pulleys slower) it has more power going to the trans, thus more power. This is fine unless in a very hot environment. The power is noticable. Order a regular predator, and do a cmr or dyno tune with it when your performance mods are done. Here is what you should do. Order your underdrive pulley, headers, and a cam (and a cam install kit). You will also need head gaskets, ex mani gaskets, stuff for an oil change, and a couple gallons of coolant from dodge. Then you pay Jack 500 bucks and give him a hand as we replace everything. Will take a weekend. If you can swing it, buy the heads too.

Do you have the underdrive pulley? Is it easy to install?

If your cam and engine cannot process more air flow, and if your exhaust system will not let a great air flow egree, having more air going in doesnt do anything for you.

Ya that makes sense. With the money you could just put it toward a cam. What cam do you recommend. I may have to take you up on that offer to get it installed one day

I knew about the ported TB, thats why i asked the question before. Always 50/50 reviews but no real hard evidence that it actually did anything

As far as cams go, the biggest thing 5.7 owners need to decide is, do you want to retain MDS? Also, are you doing heads? Some of the more highly aggresive cams can actually suffer on stock heads and exhaust systems. I recommend as far as companies Inertia Motorsports. Very good stuff. Stu is a pro. You have to get contact info on LXForums where he is a vendor.
