Mikey,
Your halos were awesome! I didn't get to talk with you tonight, hopefully next time.
All,
All I gotta say is we have one cool crowd. It was good to see the 'old' timers and the newbies.

So i still dont think Chris has a real 6.1 for some reason the little r/t chally almost beat him. HAHA, that is no little R/T by any means.... I must say, I was impressed with Richard modded R/T. I do believe he is pushing Stock SRT8 numbers if not better. That sure was alot closer than I anticipated. Luckily for me with my bad start, he also had a bad start. I was watching him, he got a good Reaction time off the light, but when dumping clutch I noticed he didn't get a good launch, but he was right there side by side, even may have pulled a lil in lower rpm first gear, but was quickly matched dead even at my higher 1st gear, and a slight pull for me in my 2nd gear. I am curious the outcome if we had more room, than 60mph on state st in front of Sandy Precinct. Richard ya got to get your R/T out to RMR club racing. I do think ya will do really well. It would be safe to say, that Richard would edge out a stock SRT8, and I lost that low end torque that used to launch me off the line like a rocket with the CatBack exhaust. It would come down to a driver race. I wish I had a 6 speed again.Richard did ya get your CRM tune yet? if not uh oh ... That maybe enough to edge me out. Jack do yourself a favor if ya do pick up a Challenger, Get an R/T 6 speed and save the difference from SRT8 and used that for Cam & Richard mods. I think ya will be happier.

I was on my phone when you guys took off but i wish i had a camera to record you guys. Talked to both of you after and it seems like Richard shifted too early and thats where you got ahead. Kinda scary to think of richards chally with a few bolt ons being able to take out a stock SRT. Jack needs to get a R/T Chally right now!!

First was definitely RedliningMikey, who gets an SRT8 and leaves it stock I do agree with ya, that the R/T maybe a much better value than getting SRT8. Plus I think Richard is at least 5k mods( LT headers, CAI, Exhaust, Throttle Body, Tune) into it vs my 1k (if that) with CAI, Exhaust, Tune... So there is so many variables, but no doubt Richard has himself one heck of a ride. Used Heck for my Young BYU brethren ;D "NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACMENT" ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I think he said 2nd. And i see so many stock SRTs and drive incredibly slow. The way i see it is if there are so many modded SRTs wouldn't they somehow find there way to SLCLX. Especially through so many forums out there.
In the end you both have sick/fast rides and i need to find a used SRT ASAP to even keep up.

That is the last thing we want ya doing, after your 140mph ticket. I would feel really bad if ya got pulled over again, Me, first time offense, You a repeated offender of racing(not so good).. There will be plenty of time, that we can race, but we should plan it at RMR Safe & legal and no risk of reckless speeding ticket, even if its not straight up, we can use timeslips to compare. But yeah, I wanna check out these Diablo settings for sure, Lets Plan something when I get back from Vegas to check out Diablo settings.

I cant speak on behalf of the other SRT8 owners/drivers out here, but I could assume most are a few years older & few years wiser, so they dont really feel like they have to prove anything or want to take risk to show how fast thier SRT8 are. Me, I personally drive under speed limit for most part, dont want ticket & I enjoy just cruising, plus co pilot gets on me, when she is in the car... Maybe I just found what I could use those Custom Button panels for.. Ejection seat is my next mod ;D ;D Ya know the saying Mikey, just cause ya have the power doesnt mean ya always have to flex it, besides how many engines and transmission has Eric went through beating the heck out of his 2 SRT8... Mikey, I would get a used SRT8 over a New R/T Challenger ,and I would certainly get a New R/T over a new SRT8. Does that make sense? Used SRT8 (25-30k) New R/T (35-40k) New SRT8 (45-50k)

Ya there is alot of fun stuff on the programmer that i have messed with raised shift points, rev limit, raised top speed limiter, air and fuel, spark, a bunch of stuff. thats why mine runs so d**n mean i adjusted alot of fun suff. oh and im going to straight pipe it soon just like my first one was, i think it will performe better. Be very careful, I hope ya had your car dyno & test to ensure the right A/F ratio & spark. I have heard of way too many guys messing with those parameters and leaning the car out too much & ruining $8k engines. I dont want you to go through the same issues & problems they did. Check your spark plugs to make sure they arent milky in color or pitch black. I guess ya ignored the warning that Diablo displays when going into the Modify tune area. I think it said something of the sort "Leave to professionals that can get it dialed in right for ya" I guess the positive side of it is, if ya do destroy your 6.1, ya could just replace it with 7.0 ;D

Why did you guys have to wait until you left Crown Burger to start some excitement? I would have loved to have see that. We'll have plenty of time to talk shop when everyone gets together at RMR. It will be fun to compare notes.

I agree with that, if i get a used SRT im going to stick with performance mods and a lot less on visual. Ive seen used SRT8s for as low as 22k with decent mileage and most of them are 300s. Im not sure if i should join the princess car club just yet and if i do, it has to be black. Another thing i want to have is about the same or less mileage as mine. Since i bought the charger i probably have put 9k miles and its only that much because i went to cali twice. Why did you guys have to wait until you left Crown Burger to start some excitement? I would have loved to have see that. We'll have plenty of time to talk shop when everyone gets together at RMR. It will be fun to compare notes. I was wondering if you were behind me.
