Had a great time today and I am beat. I hope someone got pics I didnt take many. The ones I did get are of the 1920's cars I love those ones. Did you hit much rain on the way home Gordon? I hit a good down pour at flying J.

I couldn't believe the number of cars there. I think the last count was 964. This was my first year going and I will definitely be back again. Gordy took some pics until his battery died. I only took one of the green with envy 392 chally.

Got Pics? Did anyone bring any hardware home from the show? Dave, the 392 GWE was probably same car that won the LH Miller Mopar show award for new hemi as well. Very nice and humble guy, he was actually shocked he won and felt a little guilty with all the sweet customized Mopars that were in attendance for the LH Miller Show.

Didn't really hit any rain, must have raced past it. Once I hit Ogden the treat of rain was over.
As Dave said, I took a whole bunch of pictures. Made a video slide show that I posted in the Media Post Area. Still waiting for StreetFire to process, taking them a while.
No hardware for this show. The awards are given out very subjectively, no scoring system of any type. The judges just walk around and pick their favorite cars. There were quite a few Mopars that won in the various categories. My favorite win was the 1970 Superbird that won the 1970 Stock class.
The most interesting part of the awards was when they gave away the free motor as part of the raffle. You had to be resent to win, and the first name they read the guys wasn't there. He must of had buddies there because they knew very quickly that the winner wasn't there. Boy I'd hate to get that phone call, "Hey guess what, you just won the motor. But you have to make it back here withing 5 minutes."

I gave the guy with the "green w/envy" a card. He owns a sublime roadrunner also. He's from Clinton and it would be cool to see him join up but I doubt he will. He said he's not into clubs but interested in the EOY Cruise.

Just join, get event emails, attend the ones that interest you or not.
