Dont have cutouts on my car personally, but you are able to close and open them when you want. So example, when the wife is in the car or driving it, have them close you get have a quiet ride. When she is not in car, open them bad boys up and you have your man music. how much is it to do what is in that video? i think i want that on my magnum.... If you want a higher end cut out; marylandspeed.com/dmh-low-profile-electric-cutouts-pair-dmhlpecut-p-1313.htmlYou know the saying, "you get what you pay for" and I have heard alot of issues with bandlandz cutouts. I think that was what Jack was using and kept rattling and sticking in up positions.

What is the stock pipe size for electric cutouts on an SRT? I can't remember if it was 3.5 or 4 and I don't really wanna crawl my big butt back under the car to find out lol... Pretty sure the stock pipe size on the SRT LX cars is 2 3/4" but not positive. If your looking to go with cutouts Ed your gonna have to save a lot of pennies to get some that are worth the money. If I was to suggest something on the cheaper side I'd say look at Raceland Cutouts, because of how inexpensive they are. www.racelandus.com/c-34-cut-out-blow-by.aspxI'd suggest going with a cutout and then getting adapters to fit the stock pipe. Also, if anyone is interested in exhaust work/performance options I'd be happy to get you a price quote at my work. I have been looking at the setup from DMH. They have a nice set with the whole kit for around $360 with a 4 year replacement warranty. I've heard Great things about these guys. What do you think it would cost to have these installed, as everyone knows I'm installation challenged lol... www.dmhperformance.com/ecutout.htm

Let me know when you find out Ed. I've been wanting to do this for awhile. I've heard some shops refuse to put them on and others charge an arm-n-leg.

I ran DMH's low profile electric's on the BEE. I loved them. I just cleaned them now and again with some B12 to remove any gunk. I'm not sure how other have installed thiers but I dropped my mids and welded them on "before" cutting the opening in the pipes, made for a nice seal.

Hey Sean do you think the regular style DMH Cutouts would fit on my Bee or do you think it might have ground clearance issues? I've heard some people say they'd work fine and others say they wont. Just wondering if you might have an opinion on this since you had them on your Bee (granted yours where low pro).
Thnx for checking on the pricing on this also Harrison. Do you guys just do the cut and weld or will you also wire them? Just want to make sure.

Jack had DMH cutouts. I wouldn't get DMH cutouts until they resolve all there issues. There are a ton of threads on lxforums about the rattling and sticking open with this brand. They are really slow at getting back your cutouts to you when you send them in for warranty work. I used to have Badlanz cutouts an ran them for a couple years through rain, snow, hot summers, etc.. I never had a problem with them. They are actually even louder then the DMH when they are open as well.

Yeah we'll be able to take care of the wiring, you can just tell us where to put the switch for them. I'd personally suggest putting it in the center console compartment so that it's actually hidden.

It looks like the pipes in the upper corners are supposed to just be welded into place on the pipe, It definitely wouldn't have the performance additive that a Y-pipe install would have.
It also wouldn't be as easy to install either.

Ok price wise we could get the parts for about $395 and that comes with everything, and the install would be about another $200 (estimate could probably get it cheaper).
So out the door it would be about $600.

So you guys could get the cutouts + parts + install for around $600 Yep, just drop your car off for a couple hours. Then come back and have a very loud car again!
