Hey all, I'm Dan. I just picked up my 07 300c on Saturday. Took it for a test drive and just fell in love with the beast. I'm from salt lake, been living here most of my life but had an ok 6 years in the Air Force. When I was living in Florida I had an 02 mustang gt that was fun for a while. I sold that to a friend and bought a nitro for a family car. :/ Ended up being a disappointing ride so I traded that for the 300. Though I admit I was looking for a good charger at first, I found a good deal with this car. Anyway, looking forward to some meet an greets. This isn't my first time with any car club scene, but perhaps it will be a longer stint that the prior one I helped run. Time to browse the site...

Hey there! I head up to syracuse every now and then to hang out with my soon-to-be turbo'd prelude friend. He thought I'd be getting a Mazda speed6 and wanted to race... Still does because he doesn't know I have the srt8... Heh
I found out about the local club from the 300cforums by srt8_801. Lots of good info around there.

Another welcome from Syracuse! Nice to see another 300C. You can't beat the combination of power and comfort those things have. Post some pic when you get a minute.
Yep, Chris (SRT8-801) is a great guy!
Look forward to meeting you. Hope your able to make the Cruise as there's not much that happens after that. Those of us that don't use our cars for daily drivers normally garage from after October. There is a M&G the week-end after however. There is also a Bar-B-Q that the MOU (Mopar's of Utah is hosting tonight in Sandy that the SLCLX club is invited to. Several of us are going to be there. Feel free to pop by! All the info is in the Events threads.

I'll have to go through the event section to see what I may be able to go to. I work nights so it's hard to do things during the week. Sounds like the cruise should be something I should shoot for at least.
This car isnt one to be stabled during parts of the year since it's my only one now. That's fine though, I had to drive the mustang in the winter for a while so I have some experience there. At least this will be much more comfortable during those times. Lol

Would that friend with the soon to be turbo'd prelude happen to be Jackson. Nah, his name is Uriah. I'm not sure who he is going through to get it installed and ready to race, but it is a local place trying to get it's name out. I'll have to ask who is going to do the work. Would be interesting to have a local turbo option for the hemi though... Hmmm..

Not seen a turbo charged Prelude before, sounds pretty sweet. My project car is my 96 240 with the SR20DET, which is the Japanese stock engine. Needless to say, it's been a work in progress for about the last 4 years. I'll finish it someday.. lol

Yeah I can't wait to see his finished project. He wants to race it at Miller and not really be a drag car. Says he should put about 300hp to the wheels though. We'll see I guess. Lol
I knew a guy while on Okinawa that had an older 240sx, or Sylvia as they call them over there. It was a pretty stout little machine until he threw a rod while doing donuts. No turbo I think...
