In a closed enviroment, on private roads, away from general public. No cars were harmed in this photo op, just the tires that were on its way out.

it seems as if when i added the programmer and intake my burnouts became less worthy of being burnouts.. on that perticular one i couldnt get the rpms up and i was in first... any thoughts?

Ya but that day Chris Ebay had 61 complaints of a strange smell!! LOL, probably did but the beauty of it, is I can say look at my car, do you think that was me. I just park it back in the spot and deny it! Frank, I was at RMR last midnight, and a guy on RMR Staff told me, my car was parked in the wrong spot and that staging line was for cars racing that night. I had to laugh and asked him, are you saying my car appears to be out of place? I informed him, that my car performs better than half the rides there. it seems as if when i added the programmer and intake my burnouts became less worthy of being burnouts.. on that perticular one i couldnt get the rpms up and i was in first... any thoughts? Strange, I know adding exhaust, you lose that lowend back pressure, but adding intake and programmer shouldnt effect low end/off line torque. Are you foot braking it, to bring RPMs up? Make sure you have ESP/ traction control disabled. You can do it manually using Programmer, if you arent able to disable by holding the esp down for 7 or so seconds. Also, street temp play a factor, warmer street, you will get a better burnout than on a cold street. By the way, nice double peg leg. I thought most LXs were one leg peggers due to the differential. Meaning one tire get more power than the other when car senses wheel spin.

YES I WAS FOOT BRAKING IT AND USALLY I CAN GET THEM RPMS UP TO 5 5AND 1/2 BUT IT WOULDNT GO OVER 3 ON THAT PERTICULAR BURN... sorry bout the caps again ill learn sooner or later.. it almost seemed like it was in 4 cyl because before i programmed it when it jumped into 8cyl from those tires would burn and those rpms would come up.... maybe just a freak accident im baffled ill have to do one in the drive thru of mcdonalds again to get myself back in the game =)

I'm not sure if G sensors play a role in this or not. But when I put my 93 octane tune in, I couldn't build my launch RPM's. Remember, I'm an AWD so burnouts aren't an option for me I just get to brake and build some RPM for a solid launch. Anyway, there is two redline settings in your program. One is an in-gear or moving, the other is an out of gear or standstill. The OE tune is dropped to about 3k or 3500 for out of gear or not moving. I bumped mine back up to around 4500 so as to not cause damage while floating throttle without the car in gear as I have a tendency to want others to hear my exhaust. ;D The end result was I gained that "stand still" power back for launches. Again, I'm not sure if other sensors play a role in this parameter. I.E. if the car doesn't sense movement it keeps the limiter low as if its out of gear? It seemed really odd to me as its against the laws of "car physics" but with my programmer in I noticed a similar loss and this seamed to help significantly. Food for thought, I hope that helps.

PS, I'm with Gordon. I love the smell of burning rubber. Especially when you burnout with the windows open. It used to p*ss my wife off something fierce when I'd do that in my 300Z's... You could smell it the next morning. LOVED IT!
