Received an Email today from Ron (Drag Strip Track Mgr) wanting to know what dates we wanted next year for our club races. I once again put in a request for two dates;
May 11th or 18th
Aug 31st or Sept 7th
Ron said he should have the final dates back to me around the first of the year. I'll keep you posted!

Count me in for sure. Like those dates  Also curious if anyone wants to try AutoCross @ Maverick Center as well as Road Course @ Miller Motorsports? AutoCross is reasonible priced and not to hard on tires/brakes and car cause you wont be going faster than 50mph Road Course is affordable if we do a Wide Open Wed, I believe its $25 and they have cones out to keep the speed down. Still a blast from what I hear. Either way, I want to do both Club nights, autocross and a wide open wed @ Miller Motorsports, So whose in? ;D Thanks Gordon for headed this up once again! I am in for RMR! and We should do a club meet at a Wide open wednesday out at Miller motorsports park. They have AutoX , the road course and Karting. Chris, you know I'm in on all of it. Already counted you in as attending all performance related events , along with Mikey and Tony(the mad scientist), cause I know he is building something big. Speaking of Tony, has anyone heard from him? Last we heard, he thought he tranny was going out. I want to do at least one autocross next year! Count me in! Right on! Had a blast even though I killed the most cones in Vegas at the SRT experience. But to my defense, I found the 392 SRT8 Challenger harder to drive as it sat down lower, alot wider than I expected, back end slide out very easy, however the Jeep was very easy and responsive. Curious how the ole 300 will hold up in comparison. |

Did you get your turbo issue solved? Did you ever get er dyno'd? Count you in for the AutoCross or 1/4 mile drag racing or both? Well you got plenty of time from now until May Club Race Night, if we dont see you at the Saturday Test & Tune April 28th. That Sat. on the 28th is what I'm leaning towards. Sounds good to me! I shall plan on attending 28th of April as well. To date, I believe you have the 2nd Fastest quarter mile time of this club and the SRT8's in Utah that we have seen run at RMR. Tom (cibola100) has the fastest time and he is in a Jeep  and he is the sole member of the 11 second club. D'Wayne, whose hitting 12s first ;D, Gotta a feeling it will be done that day, question is you or me? hopefully both of us on the same run. I still havent been able to top your time of 13.2, but I should have a little something done by than to get me there and hopefully get me around you and Rod(hotrod) 13.3, with the Supercharger Plum Crazy SRT8 Charger. Going heads up with you force induction guys  I'll b going just to smoke Chris lol Richard, smoking is bad for you, just say NO to drugs ;D as I always say, come line them up. No doubt you could give me a run for the money and perhaps beat me, but smoke me I think not, unless you are running 38lbs+ of boost with Full on Slicks. Your car is so hot, its smoking Surely that is what you meant. |
