Are you entering the Magnum? or coming to hang out with us outside before the doors open? I'm not planning on entering the Magnum at this point. I'll be able to hang outside with everyone for a little bit if I don't have anything I need to do inside before the show starts. That's what normally gets in the way for me. Worst case I'll see everyone inside the show. But we'll see as it get's closer. Looks like we have three cars from the club that are planning on showing this year. Any other interest?

I would love to have my car in this show, but my windshield is busted and I have several scratches that are pretty noticeable oh yeah and my hubby screwed up my fake rims. LOL she is far from show worthy. I will be at the meet for sure though.

I would be interested in putting my car in there. I just hope it is going to be done by then. All I have left to do is underhood work (painting 3g customz covers, and putting in Killer glass radiator hose, as well as underglow lighting. I will get a hold of my painter to see if it is possible. But other than that it should show nicely with the new paint job with ghost flames, and halos. I do need to replace 2 of the transformers for the halo fog lights, they only worked the first day.... Tell me what you guys think, I will try to show up Sunday at smiths for the get together at noon weather permitting. People can look at my ride and let me know if you would like me to represent slclx. As far as the judges go, they are very biased more toward older cars that have been redone. But it would be great to represent modern mopars Hope to see you guys Sunday Pst me if you want P.S. How many spots are there? pst me plz. I really want to see your car in Autorama. Do you need nelp with anything? AND I need to email your name to J.C. Hackett. Please message me your name so I can get you on the list. We have 20 spots total. Tonight we meet together to determine the ratio of the mix of cars. We want all classes to be represented. Gordon will probably report back with details.

So far we have an SRT8 Jeep, A Charger (maybe two), two Challengers (Drag Pac Cars), two Neon's, and a Magnum for the modern LX platforms. We are really trying to find a 300 that would represent that model. Any suggestions?

Who has a good looking 300 in the club? What are our options? Eddy will he have his fixed up by then? AutoRama is a Hot Rod and Custom Car Show. Obviously non of our cars would qualify under the "Hot Rod" title, so we try to get cars that people don't normally see that often and they are clean. So far the show has never questioned the cars we put in. We try to make it worth the money people have to pay to get into the show. There are a lot of cars in the club that would qualify and we have tossed the idea around about Eddy's. As far as the 300, you don't see that many SRT-8 300's, and we've been trying to get one in the show for the last couple of years with no luck. But it doesn't necessarily have to an SRT-8. We are open to suggestions.

I think Eddy's 300 would be a great representation because his car is freshly repainted, adjustable Coilovers over 22 inch Vipers just look so sick, it has colormatched painted headlight housing with Halos, and lets not forget the new Carbon Fiber Hood with the mean eye lids to give it that aggressive sinster look. Overall appearance, I would definetly say its carshow worthy. Just my .2 cents for what its worth, besides most people wont even know its not an SRT8, I say that cause I have an SRT8 and you wouldnt believe the number of people who ask me on a regular basis,"its that the V8 one"? I would consider entering mine, but it's far from car show quality, as its daily drive except for snow and has received its fair share of road chips and minor scratches, and we all those these imperfections are the sworn enemy of Black cars. One of these days, when I have her repainted, I will enter more carshows but for now, I think she feels more at home at the track rather than under the lights of a carshow and besides, when I was talking to her and she told me she loves to be in drive and hates being in park ;D Yes I talk to my car, she is the only one that listens to me at my house.

I would love to enter the Jeep. But there are a few things that need to be done before i would feel comfortable putting it in the show.

Gordon, This is me tentatively throwing in my hat to be your 300 for AutoRama this year. I say tentative because once I get my car back i'll have one stock and one red headlight, plus one or 2 other parts i'll need done. I can have a definite answer by this Friday, but I just wanted to give you the head's up that I am interested in doing this.

Remember that one of the rules for AutoRama is the battery will have to be disconnected during the show. Unless you have an inverter on your car they wouldn't be able to see the LED's anyways. So if the headlights look the same you should be OK.
