I think log in activity would be a good way to judge. There's many times when I look but don't post. I guess I should though since I'm still a newbee!!!

I agree we need to purg the inactive members but think we should be careful too. As a suggestion, instead of them not posting as the criteria to be deleted, what about looking at the log on status. I'd hate to cut someone that's coming onto the forum and just not posting have their account deleted. Fair enough, so what do you propose the log on criteria be, a year or the 25 months? |

My suggestion would be if they haven't logged in since January of 2010, send an Email to them letting them know that their account is being considered for deletion due to inactivity. If they don't reply, then delete the account.

In for the win! Great idea admins, glad to see this finally being implement. We arent asking everyone to post everyday but at least sign in once or twice a year.
