Great views and nice pics. Why are you leaving that to come to Utah. LOL I am retiring from the Air Force. I love this area but it is too $$$. My wife is from Bountiful and after spending 22 years away from family, we decided we needed to retire to a location closer to them. Besides, UT has really grown on me through the my visits and it's a beautiful state. |

Nice pics!
One vacation we took the coastal route from the Redwoods to the San Fran, very beautiful drive. Beaches in So Cal were just too dirty and crowded.
Look forward to meeting you when you make it out.

Ahh, Half Moon Bay. I lived in Walnut Creek and SF for a couple of years. Brings back great memories. But alas, I'm in Utah because of the cost factor too.
Love California weather but hate the cost. Utah has a great mix.

Yeah, I will miss it out here too but look forward to the move to Syracuse. Today is my last duty day, the movers come on Monday, the kids graduate on the 11th, and we are heading out there bright and early on June 12th. We don't move into the house until July 1st so we will be spending time with family around Bountiful and SLC.

Yeah, I will miss it out here too but look forward to the move to Syracuse. Today is my last duty day, the movers come on Monday, the kids graduate on the 11th, and we are heading out there bright and early on June 12th. We don't move into the house until July 1st so we will be spending time with family around Bountiful and SLC. If you need a couple of hands to help move in let me know as I live in Syracuse. With the my teenagers out of school now I can always drag them along as well. I don't know if you are putting your stuff into storage for the couple of weeks or not, but we have a 6' x 10' enclosed utility trailer we can help with. It's used to hauling stuff as we used it in our move from Cali, along with two huge Penski moving trucks. |

I am trying to get the movers to do a door to door move but if they don't, they will put it in storage until we move in. I believe there is a few of us on here from Syracuse now. It seemed like a small town with a growing community when I went out there in January to buy the house. Wouldn't it be something if we were future neighbors?...
