So the people down south are meeting at south towne mall? What time and where exactly are we meeting at south towne? Yeah, I'm planning on being there around 8 and letting people gather till about 8:20. That should put us at Graybar around 8:30, or at least plenty early to chat with everyone else before the cruise begins. We usually meet just North of the Texas Roadhouse restaurant, If there's a group you won't miss us.

Looks like Linda and I will be able to make it after all and will polish up our '12 Charger SRT8 for this! Count us in for meeting up at Garcia's before 8:15 AM if that's still the plan.....Going to try to entice a couple of muscle cars to join us as well. Great news, and yes Garcia's is still the meeting point to cruise down to SLC. Hope your able to get some of those muscle cars, would love to see them come as well! The canyons here where Im at are so pretty right now. Looking out my window at this mountain is the best view ever I wish it would stay this colorful, but its also pretty when it has snow. I have a beautiful route for next years cruise if interested. I was going to bring it up for this cruise, but forgot to on time. Always open to route suggestions! Got some very very good news just now! Apparently September 29th is National Public Lands Day, which means... ALL PARK FEES ARE WAIVED. That means we'll be able to cruise right through, and up to the parking lot to take the group picture. I'll have to call on this. I talked with the ranger station today and they said that we would have to pay the fee if stop at for the pic. I'll call again tomorrow and ask about this National Public Lands Day. that's just what time your group is getting together to cruise to greybar correct? Still original departure time from greybar at 930? That's correct! Look forward to seeing everyone Saturday! With the fall colors that are out we should have a great cruise! By the way, is anyone else planning on going to the RMR Night of Fire event later Saturday night?

Here's some more info on that also, If anything I'd say first car in line to the entrance should have a print out of the info so we don't have to fight it. www.visitutah.com/includes/events/National-Public-Lands-Day-Fee-free-Day/686/

I think I'm raising my boy right, last night I had to ask him if he wanted to play Football on Saturday or go on the car cruise with the club. He looked at me like I was stupid and said the Cruise , what a kid.

Just got off the phone with the ranger station, the Alpine Loop does fall under the fee free day! So that means no fee for tomorrow all cars are free even though we will be using the parking lot at cascade Springs and possibly the restroom there.
Great job Steve on raising your boy! Looks like Kira will be bringing a friend as well. Look forward to seeing everybody tomorrow morning!
