My engine keeps overheating. I see that it's losing anti freeze. So I took it to Larry h miller cause it has a warranty. They said they did a pressure test and found no leaks but it is still losing fluid and overheating. Any body have any ideas? Thanks In advance

Have you check the oil to see if there is extra fluid that should not be there?

Check your water pump. On my 06 daytona, my brothers 06 daytona, and my wife's challenger , the extension off the waterpump where the lower hose clamps on cracked. On My wife's the dealer could not find it, but we caught it in time to get it fixed. Mine and my brothers car did the same and both cars started running hotter until i fixed it. They did a pressure test on mine as well but still could not find my leak. I live in Roy and don't work tomorrow if you want to bring it by and I can see if it's leaking where mine was. Call me 801-686-4111

Yup. If you're not seeing it on the floor or in the belly pan then its likely at the water pump and housing. Otherwise, you could lose pressure and overheat from something as dumb as a bad radiator cap....

Pretty sad the dealership can't do a little more troubleshooting. Nope pressure is all good, nothing is wrong...
thank goodness we have forums to help us out!

Thanks In advance Just curious what your temp is reading at, that makes you think its over heating? Does it gradually go back down? or does it stay higher temps all the time? Mine has reach 232 degrees once getting on her, but does quickly drop back down to 190. Anyhow good luck, hopefully its an easy fix.

I can't believe your dealership couldn't identify a loss of pressure from a bad radiator? Sounds to me like they only gave the visual inspection, nothing more... sounds like a tech not to trust there. I'd be p*ss*d to if I looked under my hood and found the radiator was bad.
Been there, done that... its frequent failure on the LX. It was disclosed there was a series of radiators made that were used on the V-8 equipped cars which was not the proper metal to prevent internal corrosion from the composition of the coolant. Supposedly a short run from 06-07, but I bet they really never fixed anything. I read a service bulletin about it that eliminated high pressure coolant flushes during services over a certain mileage...
