Lol. I had the same issues you are having on your hood. Just did not seem to match up. Well if it is questions you have there is one person I trust to do anything on my car. His name is Rob Staker [phone] from River ton
Rods and Rides. He made my hood look and fit great. Give him a call, you wont be disappointed. Try him out before you go out and buy another hood that could have the same issues. If you have any questions you can pm me, always happy to help out

I definitely see where you guys are coming from, you would have to see this hood up close in the flesh, its off quite a bit. Even if i buy another one I still expect there may be some fitment issues to work out and thats fine, plus I think I'm gonna get the Big Boy!

i say take it to reputable body man and get the low-down from the pro! my body man is GREAT but don't even mention ebay to him he develops turret's rather instantaneously lol! he always tells me cheap is cheap you get what you pay for! fiberglass ALWAYS needs work you can never just slap it together thats why he says you always see these civic's eclipse's etc with gel finished or primed but never painted body kits on cars all around town! guys come to him constantly with body kits hoods etc. from ebay and want him to paint and install (its never cheap) he doesn't half ass anything and to truly get all the gaps and fit correct at takes a lot of work! the 3" from trufiber has been on my wishlist for as long as ive owned her lol! it will be the one i will buy someday! i actually had the money at one time but they listed it as temporarily discontinued on there site, i emailed them and they said they would run more approx. 4 months down the line this was a while ago and they have since had them back on there site but now i don't have the money DOH! oh well still someday!

If you get that tf hood I would through some black on it to match your vinyl and spoiler.

I can't decide if I wanna do just all silver or matte black on the cowl like the pic of the lime green one, I already have a ton of black on the car and I don't wanna overwhelm it...
