Just found brand new OEM 6.4l cams on mopar online parts for 59 bucks! Did some looking into it and total for new springs, pushrods, a tune (when avaliable for the 2013) should run around 800-1000 bucks. Anything else i'm missing? In my searches I found no need for a phase limiter but if I missed something I might/would need please let me know. I'm really considering doing this mod since some people have reported gains of 40rwhp and 40lbtq but average it seem from a 20-25 hp/tq. Looking for inputs on this.
Thanks!

I've been looking into cams for what seems like forever just never had the 2k+ for cam install and tune! Its by far my most wanted mod as its the absolute biggest bang for your money you could possibly due for our cars that isn't gonna end when the bottle is empty or cost you 6k for boost options lol! I'm an NA guy, all motor for me please! So this info is very interesting and quiet the deal. If you find any more information about it please post and I will look and do some research myself but this sounds very cool. Maybe we can get Tony to chime in here as he's done the most work with the 5.7 & been the fastest R/T that I know of! He's super knowledgeable and I know he's done tons of research!

Also wondering if this is only applicable to the newer 5.7's I'm almost thinking even though the cost of the csm is fairly inexpensive vs 4 5 or 600+ on an inertia cam you'd really wanna look into the performance gains of the 2 comparatively???

The 6.4 cam should work in just about all 5.7 engines. There was a guy over on the challenger forumz who succesfully did the cam swap on his 09 Challenger R/T but theres plenty of shops you can call. I called Arrington Performance and asked them if it would work in my car they said it would but there's no point in doing it until my car is tunable. So its back to the waiting game for me >_<
Total cost of parts though should be around $510.85 then figure when tuning is avaliable around 300 for a dyno tune looking in the 800 ball park so not terrible cost.
