ViperJeff, You do mean SpringFest 09 and not 06? I was planning on going, but if it wasnt for bad luck, I would have none. Crashed daily driver last week and today Garage door closed on back of trunk I can only think the worse as my guess for repair the paint job at least $500.

My car is in the shop for this week. I probably won't get it back til about Saturday. I watched as a lady hit my car in a parking lot. It was like watching a horror movie.

Sorry to hear bout that, Is her insurance covering the repair cost & where are ya talking her to get fixed? The best prices I got is maaco, which is 3 times as less than LH Miller & Central collison and seen photos of great work Maaco has done, but I am still a lil nervous. Ya'll know the saying,"ya get what ya pay for" & since I am not going to file a claim, it will have to be out of my pocket of course

Her insurance is covering the repair cost and I'm just paying the difference to get the fascia painted. The owner is going to try and cut me a deal because I told him I'll post on the forums about his company and have pictures taken of the work or any other projects he is working on. This guy has won some awards for his amazing paint job on his own custom bikes.

People don't forget about this... A member reminded me tonight about it... Windshield Placard: The placard identifies you and your car, so people can find you. Detail any mods you may have done so members can hound you! Download and save the placard file - click the link for the format you wish to use... .pdf to print and complete by hand .xls to complete and print on the computerPlease complete the placard prior to arrival If you forget your placard, let us know when you're at the information table You'll need this placard to display at Spring Festival. If you forget, go to the registration desks and let them know.

***CHANGE OF VENUE*** We’ve been quietly working on an alternate venue for this years Spring Festival that would keep us closer to the host hotels and make the logistics of attending easier for both attendees and vendors. You asked for it and we listened! We have been successful in securing one of the Irvine Spectrum’s huge off-site lots and we are now closer to both the Doubletree Hotel and the Chrysler Corporate Headquarters. We are also walking distance to the Spectrum and directly in the face of the Ford & Mazda buildings & Cars & Coffee. This is the same show that said, your not welcomed, Better than that, they will be thinking wt...., where did all of these Dodge's and Chrysler's come from. This site will handle over 800 cars, and this does not include the additional space around the outer edge for all the supporting vendors, which is a tad over a quarter mile long. There will be plenty of room to both spread out as well as keeping things close enough to be able to see all the cars and vendors, There will be attractions in the middle of the event and vendors and food around the edges, with you, the participants in the middle. Also for those of you coming with friends and family and staying at the Doubletree you will get to sleep in or grab a relaxing breakfast while your significant other is staging the car for the event because you will be able to take the FREE shuttle from the hotel to the event whenever you are ready to go. If you have not made your reservations at the Double Tree, better not wait much longer we've already got 87 rooms booked. I have blocked plenty of rooms but I need to also have rooms available for the Chrysler folks coming from Mich. don't wait till the last minute. And this is just to start...there's more coming... We want to thank all the participants and vendors for their support of the 4th Annual Spring Festival of LX’s. Chrysler Corp, Fatchance, JonW, Tmagnum and all supporting volunteers! Here is the address just incase you guys need it for your NAV system: 8012 Gateway Blvd Irvine, California 92618 maps.google.com/maps?q=8012+gateway+dr,+irvine+ca&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&rlz=1I7GGLR&um=1&ie=UTF-8&split=0&gl=us&ei=GHGjSZPlBpLQsAPW19SeAg&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&resnum=1&ct=title It is that large parking lot... also don't mind that big dirt spot in this image... it is now covered and very smooth!! Here is a better picture:

Just an FYI.........
Just a quick reminder there are plenty of rooms at the Double Tree and that’s where the party will be all weekend. They will have a BBQ Friday night with poolside bar; Saturday night will be a Mexican Fajita buffet with the poolside bar. That being said, don’t wait till the last minute to make your reservations. The Double Tree will also have a detail service at the hotel and we have the Car Spa15291 Culver Dr Irvine, CA92604 (949) 733-9700 a few minutes away.
