I've been asked by the Mopars of Utah to extend an invention to everyone to their 5th Annual Mini Mopars At the Strip Event. This is a great family event were you can bring the family.
The event is basically rather simple. Bring your favorite Hot Wheel's Car and race it down a mocked up drag strip. This may sound somewhat boring, but as in any drag racing the difference between winning and loosing is the reaction time off of the lights. This event isn't any different, a good reaction time off the lights can bring home a win! There will be prizes and bragging rights.
I know this makes for a busy week next week, especially with the SLCLX Meet and Greet the next night. But I've got my Magnum R/T Hot Wheels car ready and am ready to take any of you guys on! ;D
This event will be held at Larry H. Miller Chrysler dealership at 10905 so Automall Drive. Park between the Chrysler and the Dodge store. The conference room is upstairs in the Chrysler store. Racing starts at 7:00pm.

This sounds like fun. All my Hot Wheel's cars are back home in California. That's alright, Wal-Mart has a good selection. For just a couple of bucks you can pick up a car to race.

Remember to bring some dollar bills, it's the annual fund raiser and there is an entry fee. But it's well worth it, it's fun as hell.
Not sure what the prizes are this year, but last year it was 175.00 gift certificate to Stewart Specialties who does Soda Blasting

Soda blasting is like sand blasting but much more environmentally freindly and a whole lot easier on the metal. In fact it's ready for primer as soon as it's blasted. There is no pitting or abrasion like with sand. In fact, they can clean glass with this process.
The Mini Drags are a blast. I'll be bringing my winning Viper so beware!

It looked like your and my daughter's Vipers petered out Wednesday night. After I red lighted two times, I kept hesitating and just couldn't get the jump at the start! The same thing happened to my daughter. My Mag never made it past the third round. For those of you that didn't make it you missed a very fun time! The prizes that were given away were; 8 free Jiffy Lube Oil Changes 4 MOU Tee Shirts 2 Cast Mopar 426 Hemi Model Engines Grand Prize - Your choice of concert tickets for two!!!!!!
