SWEEEETTT!!!! Ya I officially want your jeep soooo badly! ahaha, I know I had Hans at doug smith do all the work on my challenger and he does all the work on the vipers. He is CRAZY good and doesn't charge quite the eccentric hourly rate that some people do...

I should talk with Hans. I know the guy at WV Dodge that I really trust doesn't have the knowledge to tackle this job. I don't know if they would even know how to download a tune from Vortech!

Congrats Kellie on the Vortech Supercharger for the Jeep. Did you already pick it up? As far as install, it is sometime better to pay a lil more and have it done right. I know Karl will also tune it too, not just the install. I would say Karl, Hans from Doug Smith, Possible Dave from Brent Brown. Sure Ben or Gordon would know of some other reputable techs.. Kepp us posted and dibs on the first ride

Picked it up Saturday. Check engine light came on two weeks ago, I cleared it and it is back today. Transmission issues:(
I'm thinking ST Performance in San Bernardino, CA. Road trip next spring.

There might be a closer place to work on it, unless it's a warranty problem. There is a guy in the MOU group that has a transmission shop in Lehi. I've heard nothing but good things about his shop. A lot of the hot rodders take their cars to him. Let me know if your interested and I can give you his information. I would trust him with my cars, if fact he's already worked on my daughters PT. Worst case you can take it to him and he can tell you wants wrong with it.

Great stand up guy, your Jeep would be in great hands with him. He has been doing transmissions forever ;D... BTW what code did it display? Mine threw a tranny code ,incorrect gear ratio. it was under warranty, so I had dealership look into it and cleared it, been great every since... I also heard that if your tranny fluid gets low, it will throw a code for sure. Hopefully its something very simple and inexpensive.

WV Dodge is fixing the transmission, extended warranty is covering a transmission module.
The road trip is for the Vortech install. The jeep forum has several Vortech installs/tunes done by ST Performance. They seem to know their stuff and have high recommendations. Road trip is tentatively scheduled for next spring.
