After much debate I have decided to do one or the the other for Spring, supercharging or turbo charging the Bee. Any info on what system and whom to have do the work would be great. I'm still new out here and just not sure who to trust with the Bee.

Well, STS Turbo does a great job with the twin turbo with one of the guys in the club. He did it to his Challenger SRT8. Also Kellie has a supercharger. We also have the Hennessy600 supercharger, SMS supercharger and the Techco Supercharger. My buddy is selling his Techco supercharger for $5k. Here's the link for it. slclx.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=forsale&action=display&thread=798

I would hands down go with kenne bell, i keep hearing great reviews on the system in our cars. There are people like Dave at Hinckley Dodge and Karl at API. They both have great knowledge about our cars also.

I did a lot of research before I installed the procharger. Am I happy with it? Yes, but regardless of the system, get a custom tune!! Karl is tuning mine and the system is supposed to have a fuel ratio of 12:1 and 4-6 pounds of boost. When he did the initial run it was running 13:1 with 2 1/2 pounds of boost. Obviously, he is making significant changes and has found leaks etc. My horsepower is about 60 low. Karl will be able to fix it but it is taking considerable time.
Although Techco seems like a good system and I know the car enthusiasts really like the design of the system, Techco has gone out of business. Seems like a risk to me.
One of the fastest LX's has a Vortech.
I would stick with a reputable brand; vortech, procharger, or kenne bell. Then get a custom tune.

I second what Kellie says. If you get a decent tune you can't go wrong with any of those 3. With our cars SC is the way to go. I am still not sold on the turbos with our cars yet.

I say choose whichever design you like... Twin Screw: Kenne Bell or SMS Centrifugal: Vortech or Procharger

Thnx for all the info, I am going to do a ton of research before any work starts. I have had Buick GN (85) Stage 3 stroker, and a Audi S4 with Garrett's and a stage 2 motor, but no supercharged cars. I'm going to go slow with this mod, I'll do some smaller ones while I get the info but don't want to wreck a new car for the sake of being able to say "Look what I did last month"

I have been talking with BMC performance a little and may be going with a Vortech SC next month. We will have to see.

ROFL! keep dreaming I would only buy a techo if it was really cheap but 5500 is way too much for a company that no longer exists.
