Looks great! I've had 5% all around on all my cars since ehh 2006? And never in all the times I've gotten pulled over have they even mentioned it. Just make sure if you get pulled over you roll both fronts down when you're pulling over.  |

Jim, your windows look good. I have 20% all around, which is dark enough but not too dark.
I like the look of the 5% all around!

You close your legs so your Va***a doesn't show and realize a little rain or snow never hurt anything, and you have to roll the drivers down anyways |

People have told me if you dont roll down the back and they see you got really dark tint they ask you to check your front windows. Guessing utah PD doesnt do that

I've never had them ask that o.o It would be weird Cause 5% in the rears and back is legal...so why would they assume EVERYONE is breaking the law? I'm just saying, the fix it ticket isn't too bad..and I <3 My 5% If i can get a few years out of it with no ticket? Who cares it's gotta be ripped off and redone every other year for IM anyways (shudder). Every year theres more to undo to get my car to pass haha Swap head and tail lights, strip tint, put mufflers/Catted mids on x.x But you do what you gotta do to drive your car the way you want it. Imo ANY tint is better than no tint 35% is pretty ballin...just don't be one of those "Limo" Like people who do 5% on the back and rear then 35% on driver and passenger front....keep it more even :s |

yeah thats why i never got limo in the rear
The tint place i went to did from lightest to darkest so blends in better.

Lol it doesn't matter if you roll your windows down while getting pulled over, if it's for tint they will have you roll your windows up. That happened to me on my one ticket haha tested for 2%.

If I got a cop that pulled me over purely for tint....Oh god the other things I have a feeling I'd be getting tickets for :s
Let's leave it at. Is it worth it to you? If it's not worth the $100 ish fix-it ticket then don't do it.
I accept the fact I might be pulled over and might be ticketed but to me it's just not as cool without the tint. I remember when I first got it and I'd roll by police like I had just robbed a bank haha I'd see one behind me and I'd turn down random streets to get away. Then I realized in my experience they generally don't care :\
Meh, to each their own but seriously. Cops that are so hard up as to pull me over for tint when I'm not speeding and just crusing around. (Sorry I have NO love for those kinds of cops, the ones that are "Quota Cops" and break all kinds of ticket records)

Guys I understand that some laws regarding our cars suck but we just need to make sure we watch what we are posting as not to offend others. On a side note where can I have my front windows tinted that dark no shop will do I for me.

Agree with Stephen, lets try not to offend anyone in the group! Dont want to come off as being the preacher of group, cause I really am not. But I hope you guys understand that cops are simply doing there jobs, even if it doesnt seem that way. I am pretty sure I have been pulled over just as many times if not more than most people here, (got tickets and DMV record to prove it) and that is okay. I am sure that 99% of the time there was probably cause  ... Honestly, I used to think the same thing as you guys when I was younger, not that I am that much older now, but maturity is setting in, well my wife would disagree there. |
