Wow Eric, I didn't know you had a 109R. That is my dream bike! I came so close to getting an 07 while I was in CA. It was a red one. I was planning on getting it for a retirement gift for myself. I even joined the 109 forums cuz I was so close to getting one but it just didn't pan out. Maybe, one of these days... Nice clean truck too! You got your hands full with the Opel and 41 but it looks like it'll be a fun project.

Ya i love my bike, it used to match my old charger. I had a silver one first. and the opel wont take much to get to driving condition for drifting any ways. all you need is it to run and have a seat and a seat belt and your good to go The biggest time consumer will be the V8 mopar 383 im gonna through in there. hopefully i have the first MOPAR powered OPEL GT drifter. hehe

im just gonna be focusing on getting the opel cleaned up and how much to get the motor in, might take to karl but im thinkin i will take it to my buddy tom at Toms auto wrecking. then just find a seat and do a full cage then be good to go, i have a sander and im going to just get some paint from karl and flat black it. it will be sweet soon with very little money finally something that is a cheap fixer upper unlike the charger lol

got the opels stock motor the 1.9L to fire up and the clutch trans and brakes all work great so $200 bucks for the opel is an all in all d**n good deal to me.

I'd like to see how that thing runs with a 383 in it. Why are you going with a big block, why not a small block 360 which would take some weight out?

the reason im going with the big block is because i have one already and im gonna get the aluminum block, heads, and intake manifold and then putting the battery in the back and putting the heavy rear end in there to balance it all out, oh and doing all tubular set up on the front and im doing the rollcage first before i get ready to do the motor just so i keep the strength of the car before i do the little bit of cutting to get everything sitting right.
