I have seen some chatter about Option 5 wheels coming out for LX/LC platforms. Apparently their website isn't up and running. I heard that these will be out on 3/20, but no confirmation. www.flickr.com/photos/45781794@N05/Challenger: Charger: 300:

They are badass and glad to see they are actually finally coming out with a due date. The owner of the challenger is on LXforums not sure how he got them.

I was pm'ing the guy for a couples months last year and then he just stopped pm'ing. I really wanted to get them. He lost a lot of people that were interested. But if he is starting this back up again, that'll be cool to see someone in the club get them. They are some pretty sweet looking rims.

I haven't talked to anyone from the company, just keep hearing things on the forums about 3/20. Hopefully it is true...Their website is still down (parked)

Doug,
Thank-you for your interest in our wheels. There have been many rumors on our wheels we hear from forum boards and just want you to know that the site should be up in the next 72 hours and wheels were landing on the 20th but will now be ready on the fourth. We have over 70% of this order spoken for worldwide and will start taking consumer deposits 5 days before they land for we do not want to hold money for more then 7 days. We hope this information was helpful and hope to have you join the option 5 team. Check back in a few days for our site and keep on the look out for new photoshoots and videos that we will be posting weekly. Also coming soon, Model 7 20x9 and 20x10.5.
Regards,
Ryan Anderson Sales@option5wheels.com

Their site is finally up and running. www.option5wheels.com. Here's the message I got from the Sales guy tonight: "The wheels are 22x9 front and 22x10.5 rear. They only come Silver finish. The wheels shipped are 1849.00 to your door. We are packing up pre orders this week and we will be up and running on Monday." So about $460/wheel shipped...not too shabby for a hot product...of course, I would black them out and add the orange pinstripe like I have been planning...but that's just me

Doug, They can't do one off custom one for you. I bet if they advertised it, they would be able to sell your custom style wheel. You could always have em powdercoated. I think the orange stripe would be the toughest part, but I am sure it could be done.

Yeah, they won't even do black accents, which are currently advertised on their site...after further conversations with their sales guy, it sounds like they are having a really hard time keeping up with demand...

That is a great price on some nice looking wheels. Hopefully they will be able to keep up with demand. Too many great companies get in over their head and disappear.

I wouldn't send them any money until they start producing product. GSMotorsports did a great job of scamming people by asking for deposits. I didn't participate but the stories have certainly given me reason to be a bit cautious.
