Got some new tires on the Mag last week. When they rebalanced the tires they pulled the old weights off. Of course some of the backing stuck to the rims.
Any suggestions on how to clean that off? I've tried a couple of things but nothing has worked yet.

I've tried a couple of things but nothing has worked yet. Little elbow grease ;D ;D ;D LOL I got this pretty potent stuff, that may remove it. It similar to paint thinner, I spread it on my exhaust to get all the over spray off & it worked wonders. I also got some brasso, if you want to give that a shot as well. Beside, I am sure no one would even notice and its probably not that bad.

What have you tried already Gordon? I would try Goo-gone or maybe the magic erasers from Mr. clean.
Congrats on the tires. Which ones did you go with?

I've tried paint thinner & bug and tar remover as that was the only stuff I had. I'll get some Goo-Gone and try that.
It wasn't that noticeable until the dirt started sticking to it, now it's very noticeable.
Went with the Nitto INVO's all the way around. Stuck with the 245's in the front and went with the 275's in the back.
