Looking for 3 old, used, no longer needed camshafts. Also looking for 2 pistons with connecting rod shaft. These parts are needed to make a trophy, which I think might be cheaper and more creative, plus add a more automotive cool factor.
The camshafts would be the pillar/columns, the pistons would be the top part of the trophy. Any Rotors would be nice to use as base, I could use my old flex plate as the plaque for the engraving of the winners.
I know this club is very creative and crafty, so if anyone has any ideas or want to help create trophy, please speak up.
If any knows of any shops that would be willing to donate or sell for a very low price, please contact them. These parts can be in any condition, as I thought about checking with Ogden chrome or Unknown coatings to kinda give em more shine and clean em up a bit.

This is what we found. The pistons dont have rods, but we did find rods with no mate. I did ask my husbands brother in law if he can get me one he works at a garage he will let me know before autorama. If we go with buying I will chip in for that you all have helped me so much with questions and such so I want to help out any way I can. Here is what I did find so far, sorry its not much, but I am trying to find one. i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww3/tanyawetzel/104_0126.jpg

My rotors are coming off this weekend Thanks Tony, much appreciated. Very cool idea ya got going on there! Thanks Patrick, doesnt matter too much on matching cams. More important is to find 3 that are all similar in height. Plan on welding those between Tony's old Rotors, and than welding Pistons/Rod on top. Want to see if we can get 2 weld up there, depending on size and weight. I will check around today and tomorrow, with shops. I got a small budget from MOU, but any parts I can get for free makes it even better, as I am trying to put this trophy together with old car parts for under $30, counting cleaning and powder coating and Welding. This is what we found. The pistons dont have rods, but we did find rods with no mate. Tell your bro in law thanks for checking with his shop. As far as helping out, no worries, keep those questions coming. BTW, how is the Diablo Prediator working for you?

I have not been able to drive it much since I put it on there. I did take a quick drive before this last snow fall. Monday Mike is leaving for 6 weeks and he is taking our truck so I will have my chance to test drive the pumpkin.

I think we are covered for the most part. I stopped by Hinckley Performance yesterday, to catch up with Sean and see how the "Killer Bee" is coming along and all I can say is WOW, I want a ride for sure. Alot of work and thought has went into this monster project. Sean- Thanks for Firewall sheet, hopefully I can get that polished and installed before June, along with some other minor goodies Please thank Dave & Craig again for the shirts and donating parts for the trophy. If you can have them set the cams & piston/rods to the side, as soon as I get Tony's Rotors, would like to get started. That way we can bring to 5guys M&G in April for show and tell.
