Looking for a lowering kit for my 2006 Chrysler 300. Ideas what is good or what to avoid?

pm Greg about some BC coilovers or bag it! he can give you you're options! a few of our members are running both Mikey has nice coilovers and his car has a great stance Karl and Saxton have bagged Maggie's and laying them out definitely gives you that wow factor if that's what you're after! some guys have run the eibach drop kits (springs and struts) this is the cheaper road and you can usually find some take offs for sale on the other forums!

Depends on you. There really isn't a bad option for the LX if its just RWD. If its AWD just spring for coil overs.
You could go springs with adjustable struts and shocks, but will not have ride height adjustment. You could go bags and have on the fly ride height adjustment and that wow factor, but don't exactly have a consistent set up for a track. Or you could go coil overs and have the best of both worlds. Then like Patrick said, there are those that have combined coil overs with bags for that ultimate wow factor at shows.
LXForums walks through a different install scenarios.
Honestly, its really up to what you want and are wanting to spend. Like I said, there isn't a bad option for the LX. There aren't any real poor manufacturers either.
I personally run Eibach lowering springs, Koni STR Orange rear shocks, and Mopar OEM front struts. I am AWD though so that has something to do with it. My rear end rides perfect in response and quality. My front... ugh. I want coil overs on the front only. The OEM strut isn't exactly the best on the front end when lowered.
BC coil overs are one of my next planned mods for the front of my car. No one seams to understand why I only want front. After my years with my 240SX and drifting, adjustable height in the rear is not something I need or want. I only want dampening for the rear and both dampening and height adjust for the front... but apparently I'm weird for that.

I still don't have a quote yet for font only. I know BC will do it, talked to them about it. Just need a vendor willing to do so and won't keep asking why. Greg... that means you my friend. I do not care to have coil overs on the rear. Don't need em don't want em, if I get them they'll just be stuck on a shelf. I've ran the same Eibach and Koni and/or KYB rear on all my cars since about 1996 and couldn't be happier. What can you do for me too? 06 Magnum R/T AWD. ;D
