Ok so apparently the dealership forgot to tell me my struts and bushings are shot 6 months ago. How hard is it to put new ones in on my own?

What kind of bushings are you talking about here? If it's a bump stop then you probably won't be able to do it on your own since you'll need a strut compressor to safely take the whole assembly apart.
I've never heard of just strut bushings going bad though, usually you just replace the entire strut as a whole assembly, not just bushings.
You can tell if your struts are bad if you have a really rough ride, or you can see fluid leaking from underneath the boot on the strut itself.

The struts and bushings are bad. The whole thing needs to be replaced. Strut and bushing. Just got the car back from the shop and they said the same thing replace the whole thing

I need to get the struts and bushing. But once they arrive I would love your help Barry. I'm not to savy in this area.
