I want to lower my bus like 3-4 inches and i cant do it with the rims i have they poke out to far, and the brembo brakes are in the way so i cant just machine the back side down, so if anyone has some of their stock rims and tires and want a set of 22s for them that would be awesome, the rims have a little bit of weather on them but the tires are pretty new, so if anyone is interested, i will take some pictures for you its the rims in the pic, i have them plastidipped black right now Attachments:

I see so many ugly wheels out there, I think, it's just not worth it. If you're slamming it, you probably want to stay with 20's.

Good luck on trade, best bet might be to sell them and just get some reproduction 300 rims, you can get the new 2012-13 srt8 rims 20". They have the black chrome ones too. The reproduction ones are usually a little less expensive too, but if you are set on the oem ones, you can probably find them for $150-175 shipped each through ebay and the forums. I agree the 300 rims look great, that's why I had my chromed and the rears widen to 10.5 .

i thought it was just the all wheel drive 300 wheels that would not fit Sorry... its a learning lecture, but here you go: The AWD has a huge 55mm offset on an 18x7.5" wheel, the SRT has a 20mm offset on a 20x9" wheel, the RWD has a 24mm offset on an 18x7.5". The SXT (non AWD) had a 22mm offset on a 17x7" wheel. All four LX types can use the exact same rear wheel offset as the next, the geometry is the same. The difference was only in A) Brake Caliper/Piston combos and B) Spring and Strut length. Of course they had differing gear ratios, but the housing and axle lengths are the same. Each different model has a different wheel size for proper tracking with the front end equipment based on what they wanted the vehicle to do. Just like a truck, the AWD has a narrow wheelbase with the front being wider than the rear. The R/T and SXT (non AWD) are pretty balanced out. The SRT had a wider rear stance. The front on the RT, SXT (non AWD), and SRT are the same geometry, the AWD has an entirely different front geometry. The differences are the SRT has the larger calipers/rotors but has the same hub and spindle as the standard RWD models . The AWD has a totally different spindle assembly and hub. (Hence we are limited for front suspension and braking upgrades) The primary difference in wheel size from the SRT to just a standard RWD car is simply for tracking and handling. The larger wheel allows larger tires, obviously for acceleration/deceleration and better handling. The SRT has lower suspension also for better handling. The AWD has the off road stance for inclement weather handling. The R/T has just enough to get it done and be sporty, but yet be a good every day driver... the SXT (non AWD) models had smaller wheels but the same geometry as the R/T models and (sorry guys) weren't equipped quite as well in the brake and suspension department from the factory. At least there are better options here for upgrade over the AWD models. In the end, the AWD is just a b@st@rd in its own, ask me... I own one. As for getting wheels to fit the SRT, you'll likely need to keep an eye out for something with a larger diameter (at least to clear the caliper) and just a hair more offset than factory to get it to tuck. Something in the 20x8" with about a 30mm for the front should help. This is where many guys go the offset route as well. Again, sorry for the long winded email. I just know many people often wonder the differences and worry about wheels. I've been down that road many times so feel free to ask me any questions... hope I didn't cause any confusion either.

Would these rims clear the SRT brembos? I have gloss black FR Viper rims. 20x9 in front with 275/40/20s that need to eventually be replaced and 20x10 in rear with 315/35/20s with half the thread still. These are on my SRT!
