Was reading up on the Omicron build by PWR on the ChallengerTalk Forum. Looks like they were able to get Supercharger type numbers on a 6.1L. The Dyno shows a 113rwhp/111rwtq gain using the following: PW Mean Street Heads: $2095 PW-220X Camshaft: $475 PW Ported Intake: $795 100mm TB: $649 LMI CAI: $275 ATI Underdrive Balancer: $395 Gaskets/Bolts: $195 Total: $4879 Total w/free Camshaft : $4404 They are offering the deal with free Camshaft right now. I was talking with Andy from PWR and he says the install is right about 12.7 hours. His shop charges $105/hr...not sure what the going rate is in Utah at a decent shop. Those are some great numbers given the unrisky nature of the mods! Looks like a lot of people are asking for 5.7L kits, so I would expect that Andy will have something out in the near future... www.challengertalk.com/forums/f121/omicron-dyno-results-113rwhp-111rwtq-gain-33279/

That is pretty darn impressive build. Now, ya mention 5.7? Is yours R/T or SRT8? I personally like this build better than force induction, but that just me. Few great shops in Utah, price for labor is usually $80-$100. Dave at Hinckley Dodge Performance & Karl at API. How soon are you looking to order/install this? With this install, I think ya would be a track star this summer with Club bracket racing at RMR!

I would love to install now, but will probably have to wait until September...waiting for a house to sell. I have an SRT8, so 6.1L. I just mentioned the 5.7 as there are a lot of folks out there with R/Ts. Talking to Andy, he was saying that the idle is so smooth and close to stock that he doesn't think that Dealer Service would notice that it isn't stock. The second part is that they have a slightly more aggressive kit that would bump up the HP just a bit. The target is 505 rwhp Their results were (forgot to include in original post): Before Numbers: 367rwhp/365rwtq After Numbers: 480rwhp/476rwtq Gain: 113rwhp/111rwtq So we just need to safely pull 25 more rwhp

I would opted for the sligthly more aggressive set up for 25 more HP. I am guessing the are using a more aggressive cam over the 116LSA cam! I wonder whats the cost for the kit that nets 505RWHP? probably not that much more, since most of it is in the Cams & heads.

Those numbers sound great. I'm excited for that to happen. We have such a wide range of superchargers in the club right now.

Nice kit, I like!
Nice gain for the price. I'm wondering if they were running a special tune when they got those numbers.

Yeah, I believe that Andy made a comment about a more aggressive cam on the forum post. I think you lose a bit of rwtq but gain rwhp. I'm sure he will have it all dialed in very soon. There is nothing like the feeling of naturally aspirated 500+ rwhp.

Would be great to line up against some of the turbo and SC setups with similar rwhp to see how the power band varies. I think the Dyno is very impressive as it shows a gain all the way along the band. Nice kit, I like! Nice gain for the price. I'm wondering if they were running a special tune when they got those numbers. I'm sure that they were. Andy is a MOPAR expert, never does anything second rate. He is building a 1000 rwhp project car right now...

Andy is a MOPAR expert, never does anything second rate. He is building a 1000 rwhp project car right now... I remember when the punk first showed up...lol. He has come a long way since Jeremy Steinman and PPP. I'll let him know he is considered an expert! (btw, we have been friends since 2006. I almost killed him in my car when he gassed it and my dashmat flew off and covered his head ) Chris, just wait until this summer bud. I have a few things changing at SVS in Sacramento the week before SF5...2 1/2 weeks!!!

Hehe, ya special OPs -Wavetrac rear with 3.23 gears -SLP line Lock -retune and redyno with increased compression and less-than-wasted pistons I also have one of Legmaker's fender-draw air intakes coming. There are dual Aeroforce gauges sitting on top of my fridge also...gotta get those in next weeek-end. I am also picking up another set of blue giant injectors to have milled down so they fit without the spacer below my fuel rails. You know how it goes
