Hey, I saw I Charger at the Lehi/Lindon junkyard off 279 exit. Saw it from the freeway, but to be honest couldnt tell you if it was an R/T or SXT. Had the 18 rims that Mikey has, just Silver so I am assuming it was an R/T.
Might want to look into getting aftermarket exhaust for probably cheaper than R/T OEM exhaust. Still believe the OEM are a little more restricted than aftermarket one.

Where bout in Utah are you. many of us have had Fritz at Meineke hook us with with club discount rate on install. I paid $40 for install for my Magna Flow. I was going to suggest showing up at 1st Annual M&G, this club has a wide assortment of different exhaust set ups from Cherry Bomb, Cut outs, MagnaFlow, Corsa, DynoMax, Flowmasters44, Zoomers, MBRP to Deleted Res/suitcase, Straigthpipe and few more I am sure I havent named. Many factors, are ya looking for performance, Sound, Cosmetic looks? Do you mind drone? Whats your budget? |

I just went and saw fritz yesterday actually and since I'm really not looking for anything drastic and my wife drives the car 90% of the time he recommended keeping to stock muffler on since she doesn't want any noise and adding two turbo's to dual it out. So not sure if this is a good direction to go but I trust fritz knows what he is doing.

His advice speaks volume for his character. Many people would try to still upsell you. His advice was to leave it the way it is, to avoid adding any more volume. Although Volume isnt bad, Drone is what is bad. If you and your wife attend M&G, have her drive my car in parking lot to see if she like Drone (man music as thats what I heard it called  ) ... I think mine is probably on the quiet side compared to many others in the group! Actually Mikey stock R/T exhaust is more tame than mine. Plus I believe he is actually going to upgrade his exhaust to an aftermarket one. So maybe better yet, see what your wife thinks of his exhaust. I am sure he will sell it, if he goes after market route. |
