This is my cheap mod that I did today in my garage... no more chrome grill for me ;D! Now I just gotta get my stripes....

That looks great Richard! That's a good idea using the paint you did cuz it should stop any chips.

I had a galant that I put a fiberglass body kit on and I used the truck coating on the wheel wells and the bottom of the front and rear bumper and I never got a chip on them. This coating I used put a texture on the grill and it looks really nice. It suggests not to use it for at least 72 hours so I won't have it on for this saturday. Might not install it until I get my stripes so it'll be like a bonus mod.
