Anyone have any ideas or suggestions bout where to have our 1st Annual M&G? Please voice your ideas and give your input. One suggestion offered by Bill Jeffries and the Hinckley team was host M&G at Hinckley Dodge race shop on (2850 So Main Street Salt Lake City) Very freeway accessable & centrally located. Another was a park with possible BBQ? I am sure I could swing $50-60 bucks towards some Costco Steak Burgers. At a park would be great for those with kids and I think it would be great to have our understanding and often very patience better halves to attend. So this maybe the most suitable idea. Just curious what everyone else take is and to hear what & where they want to have as the first Official M&G?

Just realized it was Easter weekend. Will folks still be in town? Is this still a good day(weather permitting)? I know a few people mention that the following weekend wouldnt be good for them.

I like the idea of the park,Barbecue with wives and kids. My job had a barbecue once at sugarhouse park and it was nice place. big area with lots of parking.

I think the Hinkley Ddoge Race team wouild be cool. I would love to check out their new shop. A BBQ would be great but I would rather wait for the weather to warm up some.

Now that I think about it I may be up in Jackson Hole that weekend with the In-Laws. I think the weekend of the 10th would work better for me as well. If the weather keeps getting nice then I'd be up for the bbq in the park idea, but I've never seen the hinckley dodge race shop either. Maybe the bbq should hold off till maybe may like memorial day weekend or something? Ultimately I'm up for whatever gets me outta the house!

I like the idea of the race shop, but I would save the BBQ for warmer weather.

So waiting to hear back from more folks, but it is looking like First M&G at Hinckley Dodge Race shop off 23 S State and BBq later in spring or early in summer time. Wanted to invite the MOU folks as well. I believe Bill stated they would provide some kinda small lunch like sandwiches, but if not we can always crusie State street and grab a bit somewhere on State St. So we can make this a light cruise afterward.

Sorry I'm slow getting in on things. Anything sounds great to me especially on the weekends, hopefully not to early though lol. I would agree that the BBQ sounds great for a later date, even the location possibly at Sugar House Park.
