You guys are killing me...how much of a deal did you get!!! I haven't seen this particular CAI before...will have to check it out before making my final decision. Still favoring the LegMaker CF CAI...but yours looks real nice!! Interested to see what come us on the dyno...

Was just talking to a friend with an import. He says that he loses two lbs of boost when he uses a CAI similar to this setup with the tube running outside of the engine compartment...I imagine that there could be some loss due to the length of the tube, but stack claims to have made modifications, such as increased tube size, bend, smooth interior, etc...
But like others have said in the past, there probably isn't a drastic difference between any of the CAIs...this is the neverending conversation on forums...only dyno numbers speak to me; however, I imagine that CAIs are heavily impacted by MPH/air flow while driving...things that can't necessarily be proven out on a dyno...

Well After speaking with Jon(kingsavage) at SpringFest. He is now selling his Legmaker Carbon Fiber Intake. I believe he said $100. His reason is he lost 15-20HP. Stated that they are great intakes but not for Stroker engines. Something bout Air/Fuel ratio. Stated this would wprk great on a mild mod Hemi. So I could believe it. Ben's car felt alot more responsive but who knows, it could be due to the Below Sea level DA. I guess one way to find out is Dyno Days, maybe if he still has his current one, if not I would gladly take mine current one & install it in Ben's car to see what difference between the 2. Ben & I have the Mopar CAI, I guess I wanna see if there is any real difference. It would have to be 8+ or more HP gains to make me switch from my current CAI to new Stack Peformance, but I do like the clean look and thought bout removing my Fog light for track day so it would be a direct flow to CAI filter. So Doug, if you want to buy Leg Maker CAI for fraction of the cost ,shot Jon a PM.
