Just placed an order for my custom tune. The price is going to go up significantly in April. Good chance to get a true customer Predator tune for a low price. I talked to Tim C today and this is being used as a marketing tool (he says they have gained 300 new customers). He says they are losing money, which I imagine they are either losing or breaking even.
You can purchase the tune today and you have up to 6 months to use it...
Not advocating this shop as I don't have first hand experience with them, but people are singing their praises on the forums.

Doug Thanks for sharing! Questions? So do they email you a tune for you to download to your Diablo? For $79 this isnt an adjusted, raised calibration Canned Tune? I wonder how they equate for DA/elevation? My car would run alot different than say Florida or New Jersey. How soon are you getting yours? I would say lets do Dyno of Can tune and than some pulls on CRM $79 tune. Have they release any number gains? I wanna get this, this would be the best 79 bucks spent if I can gain an additional 10-20RWHP over 91canned tune! Sorry bout 1000 and 1 questons. Just wanted to clearify that this is an actually CRM tune where they adjust fuel/ air ratio so car doesnt get too leaned out or run to rich.

Tim C at DCX Depot can give you more information, but here are the basics. They ask you to send the following information: First name last name year make model all modifications ocatne fuel currently in the car Utah - elevation attach copy of original backup tune file So they get information from the original backup tune and take into account elevation. They send you a tune, you try it out and send back more information to them. They analyze the results and send an updated tune. I believe that they do this with you 3 times to really dial it in... Tim's email is: tim@modulardepot.com Their phone is: Tel: 877.234.5551, choose sales and ask for Tim. Doug Thanks for sharing! Questions? i got my predator from BAMACHIPS and i have free tunes for life all programmed by the legend Doug Studdard founder of Bama Custom Tuning, anytime i do any performance mods i tell him what i've done and he writes me a new program for it! so really when it comes to bolt on goodies especially if you do just one thing at a time and $$$ is an issue there is no better bang for your buck! i did my exhaust intake and t-stat all at one time sent him my stock tune and he emailed my back the custom tune that i downloaded to my predator!

yeah all you guys should definitely look into gettin one from bamachips! if buying a tuner diablosport preditor is the only way to go, and as far as vendors, c-mon where else ya gonna get free tunes every time we get tinker-itus ;D the only thing that i can think of that would be be better is if he offered the tunes with the new trinity as well, im sure he does but i haven't been to his site in over a year sense i bought mine so we'd have to check! just sorry i didnt remember to tell you guys this earlier!

I wouldn't touch DCXDepot with a million foot pole. Before it was DCXDepot, it was Modular Depot and was the contract shop for Jeremy (and Andy, now PWR) at Power Ported Performance. Call PPP and ask Jeremy how his S/C'd Charger is running with holes in the pistons after it was tuned on their dyno. Ask me how I liked rebuilding my N/A 426 that was improperly tuned by Ken, again in person, on a dyno. Since this thread is about tunes, I won't even mention the disaster in the mechanical work that was wasting my bearings. Maybe it's just me, but if a guy can't tune a car, in person, I sure wouldn't trust an email tune. Hopefully things (and attitudes there) have changed because I know they are selling the crapola out of email tunes. Tim is a nice guy, and a good salesman but he doesn't do the tuning. He does have a nice (and fast) Subaru, however Sorry for the rant...

Things certainly may have improved there...the early track record is not favorable.
