I was speaking to a guy about an Inertia SRT Max cam over the weekend. Anyone in the group have advice/suggestions around a good cam that will work with the stock 6.1 heads? Inertia claims that their cam has no problems running with the stock components, but that they recommend Pushrods and higher stall converter. They have it for sale on their website for $410, so I'm sure I can find a better deal with an aftermarket vendor. The LOPE sounds real NICE with this Cam, so I am leaning towards it. I really like the PWR setup, but it seems that they do better with the full head and intake changeout, plus throttlebody, valve upgrade, etc. www.inertiamotorsports.com/SRT%20Max.htmThis is a 5.7 Anyway, any input is appreciated...

Pete does still have it for $390. I am trying to get him up here for the Dyno Day. He may be able to bring it with him.

Any of those three will take care of you. They all make safe, well-thought-out cams.
One thought I had after reading dug's post on the Omicron build...whatever HP numbers they are showing are great, but those of us living at altitude, me especially at 7000 feet, will show significantly less. I have dyno'd my car on three separate occasions at sea level and got to play with all the BS that accompanies coming back to reality at home.
I have to remove over 15% fuel at WOT just to get back CLOSE to 12.2:1 AFR...that is straight power. The only way around that is forced induction and it's hard to get tuning at sea level that works at altitude, especially when you want larger boost.
