I have been troubleshooting a torque converter lock-up issue in 3rd gear for a few months, as well as getting more annoyed with how harsh my Paramount valve body was when downshifting...so I solved both problems at once. I took these out: ...and put these in: I replaced my PI2800 TC with a newer model PI2800 TC. While I was at it I finally installed my billet fuel rails as they were beginning to make a permanent dent in my living room carpeting...lol I drove at night across the Mojave and didn't think too much about it but on the way back I hit it in the afternoon...wow it was hot: In any event, problem solved. I am still waiting for my widened rear wheels (2 months now) to come back from the black-chromers so I can mount my 20" DRs...after that I hope to join you guys for at least ONE track event down there Thanks for looking.

Thanks guys and gals! Kellie, you really should have one of these transmissions too!!! Bob at SVS noticed i had an anomoly in third gear so he used the dyno as a brake and hammered it in third gear...I had an unusual flare for lack of a better word...and the car didn't bog like it should have. In the following months, my car was starting to flare in a normal 3-4 shift...like you had a manual transmission and were slipping the clutch real quickly. Anyway, it doesn't do it anymore Chris, the PI2800 feels just like the first PI2800, except it doesn't "flare" anymore while shifting. If I had it do do over again, I would have gone to a PI3200. I don't even notice any difference from stock since I have a 2800 stall TC in since 2007. Gordy, so do I! This lift was a Cam Cheauvront's shop (CrankThis! Performance). Oh, I'll do my best Ben
