I had my wheels powder coated by unknown coatings and boy can I say that he does amazing work and would recommend him to anyone!!! But the center piece in my stock wheels with the dodge emblem on it is plastic and wasn't able to be powder coated so I am having to spray paint that to match. Do I need to pre sand before applying the first coat? And once I get the first coat then wet sand and apply another coat? Any tips or suggestions from anyone would be a huge help.

Sand, primer, paint. I would use a type of wheel paint like VHT

I love the black wheels. The power coating looks fantastic. Nice choice.
