Thanks in Advance Mikey, Stephen & Dave! I can sleep a little better knowing, I have you experts helping out and thanks again Dave for offer to let me use your Billet Tech parking Mechanism replacement. At my folks house in Woods Cross and I go to get in car. Start it up and go to shift from Park to reverse and nothing. First thought, is yep that cheap pink flimsy part that everyone is or has replaced just broke. now I am bummed out, my car is out in driveway  ....... Hope to get her back up & running tomorrow. |

Dang, the pink thingy breakdown has hit Utah! I really want to get mine replaced too but I have no idea how to do it.

No problem Chris. I've had the BT replacement part in my center counsel for 2 years now. I just never got around to replacing it. I will bring it down today and hope the swap out goes well.
As a reminder, BT has the Labor day sale going on now (15% off and free shipping) so whoever has a 05-07 might want to think about getting one so this doesn't happen to you.

All done took us like an 1hour and a half and only cost 20cents to fix with a cotter pin.

Great alternate, if one doesnt have the Billet Tech lock out mechanism replacement. Sad part, is had to listen to my old man talk up Chevy, and my granny even joined in on the teasing, telling me to get a Nissan lol. One would think, they should have recalled this part long time ago. Wouldnt have hurt Chrysler to spend an extra buck for preventive measure. I guess they did in 08 and newer, but 05-07 not so lucky. |

Glad we were able to help out Chris. For those who Have this issue its a simple 10ยข fix and you don't need to spend $50 on the BT part.
