The plans for the new graphics for the car are slowly coming along.
I now have a clear idea of how I want the new graphics to look and I am beginning to wonder if Tom can actually handle the detail of artwork I am after.
It is looking like using vinyl without turning into a wrap is becoming out of the question, because of the detail with the ripped and peeled back look I am want with artwork.
I am trying to find someone in the area does excellent precision airbrushing that is not going to charge me an arm and a leg to finalize the designs and keep my car for weeks on end do the work. I really prefer to work with someone who is not going to simply apply the artwork over the existing clear coat, but take the time to strip it, apply the artwork and reseal it properly so that it looks good in the end.
I am going to be far more selective and picky about the artwork and design before it is applied, so they will need to be willing to listen and pay attention to what my end goal is for the look of the car.
This is starting to take on the same feel of trying to work with a tattoo artist and the difference between finding someone that is good and finding that one artist that is excellent with design and the application of that design.
Any help or suggestions you can offer will be greatly appreciated as always.

Look around at some of the air brush work on cars at shows. Ask the owner where he got it done if you like the work. I am sure you could get some nice places to start at from this point. Good luck Dan!
